Introduction

Mobile Client is a Short Message Service (SMS) messaging tool. It facilitates complete messaging capabilities over the GSM, CDMA networks for Java supported mobile devices via HTTP interface. Using Mobile Client user can send single, bulk or group message from their mobiles provided their mobile can connect to Internet and the service is enabled. Also Mobile Client supports Text Message, Flash Message and Unicode Message formats.

GPRS Support:
To successfully send your messages, you need to have a GPRS connection to connect to our Web Server through HTTP. No download charges or access charges are taken from RouteSms however GPRS vendor can charge you depending upon type of GPRS connection. Make sure that you can access web sites using your phone before using the Mobile Client, so that Mobile Client can send messages.

How To Install:

  1. Installing via Bluetooth from your Desktop/ Laptop or other mobile phones:
    1. Download both the JAR and JAD file from RouteSms web site. (i.e. www.routesms.com). In case of mobile phones copy JAR file in your phone/memory card.
    2. Start Bluetooth of your mobile phone and Desktop/ Laptop.
    3. Transfer JAR file in to mobile phone you want to install the Mobile Client.
    4. After this your phone will ask to install the application, MIDlet suite will be controlled by Application Manager available in your phone and guide you through the process.
  1. Installing through the PC Suite suitable for your mobile phone:
    1. Read the manual of your mobile phone on how to install applications/MIDlets.
    2. Normally only JAR file is sufficient to install the MIDlet, however some mobile devices also ask for JAD file (e.g. Sony Ericsson). Select the appropriate file asked by your PC suite.
    3. PC suite will automatically install the Mobile Client.
